Ghost Whisperer star Jennifer Love-Hewitt admitted that sometimes people mistake her for someone who really has the skills to communicate with the ghosts. Even people do think that she has the same supernatural abilities as Melinda Gordon (role played by her on Ghost Whisperer) has. While talking to The National Ledger, Jennifer told, “They’ll come up to me and they’re sobbing because they’ve lost someone”.

Jennifer Love-Hewitt portrays the character of Melinda Gordon on Ghost Whisperer. Her character has the capability to converse with the ghosts and she helps the dead ones to sort out their issues before their souls pass over to the other side.

You all will get wild to know what she has in her mind. This 30 year old gorgeous has the desire to be a real life Ghost Whisperer. She said, “I wish I was the person they think I am and that I could help, but I’m just an actress playing a part”.

The things which happen to Melinda on Ghost Whisperer affect her life in some way. She expressed that she is getting unquestionably close to her portrayal. In fact, it is Jennifer’s dedication towards the series which has made it one of the best loved series of the American TV world. The series has received a huge success during its four season long run which most of the shows fail to attain even after a number of years on air.

Anyways, the fifth season of Ghost Whisperer is scheduled to be premiered on September 25, 2009. The season opener is entitled Birthday Presence. Following it would be the episodes See No Evil and Till Death Do Us Part etc.
